Ever since her first brush with fashion in 2002, Joanna Koh has established herself regionally as a versatile, experienced and sought-after model in the fields of runway, photo shoots and modeling competitions. She boasts the perfect package of edgy oriental beauty, spunky personality and impressive credentials.

A towering presence on the runway, Joanna specializes in fashion shows. She has graced the runways of Singapore Fashion Festival, Jewelfest Singapore, Francis Cheong, Blanc Pain, Roger Dubuis, Furla, Cortifiel, Pedro di Hierro and Mumbai Se amongst other local and international designer brands. In 2007, she was accorded the honor of opening the Singapore Fashion Week Gala Dinner show for local designer Daniel Yam.

Her expertise in runway has not only been recognized locally. She was personally selected to walk as an international model, Singapore’s sole representative, for Jakarta Fashion Festival’s opening and main shows. In addition, she was featured in Harpers Bazaar Indonesia.

 Joanna is not to be outdone in photo shoots either. She has appeared in a variety of spreads for local and international magazines like Playeur, Maxim, Shape, Her World, Elle, Catalog, India Se and SouthWall (Philippines).

On the competition front, she has been selected to take part in international contests like Miss Model of the World ’04 (China), Fashion TV Model Awards ’04 (Guangzhou, China), Top Model of the World ’05 (Shenzhen, China), Best Model of the World ’05 (Istanbul, Turkey) and Face of the Universe ’06 (Accra, Ghana).  In Face of the Universe, an international beauty and modeling pageant, she was placed in the Top 10 and also took home the award for Best in Evening Gown.

Not content to simply be in front of the lens and audiences, she is keen to share her experiences with aspiring models. In 2007, she undertook the role of choreographer for Miss Earth Singapore, training the contestants in modeling and creating 4 fashion shows and the grand coronation night. She also offers deportment and basic modeling courses.
